The Golden Social Club is built on relationships, presence, and care. Whether you’re looking to work professionally, volunteer your time, or gain hands-on experience through an internship, there are meaningful ways to be part of this work.

Careers

Career opportunities with The Golden Social Club are for individuals who value relationship-centered work and want to support older adults with dignity and respect.

Our roles focus on:

  • One-on-one, non-medical companionship

  • Consistency and reliability

  • Ethical, professional engagement

  • Building trust and meaningful connection

Volunteers

Volunteers play an important role in helping reduce isolation and bring companionship into the lives of older adults. Volunteering with The Golden Social Club is about showing up consistently and offering presence, conversation, and kindness.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

  • Friendly visits and companionship

  • Shared activities such as reading, games, or conversation

  • Supporting connection and routine for seniors aging in place

All volunteers receive orientation and guidance to ensure visits are respectful, appropriate, and aligned with our non-medical scope.

Internship & Fieldwork Program

Our Internship & Fieldwork Program is designed for students interested in gerontology and aging, as well as those drawn to human development, social services, or community-based work.

Interns will:

  • Engage directly with older adults in in-home settings

  • Apply classroom learning to real-world experiences

  • Develop skills in ethical engagement, observation, and reflection

  • Participate in supervision and guided learning

This is a non-clinical learning experience that prioritizes thoughtful presence, clear expectations, and real-world relationship skills.
