About
The Golden Social Collective
The Golden Social Club is part of The Golden Social Collective, a mission-driven social enterprise dedicated to helping older adults, stay connected, engaged, and supported through companionship.
As the Collective's for-profit companion services company, The Golden Social Club provides personalized, non-medical companionship for older adults who are experiencing social isolation or have limited access to consistent companionship. This includes seniors living alone or aging in place, those with limited family or caregiver support, individuals transitioning after the loss of a spouse or close friend, and seniors who would benefit from cognitive engagement and relationship-based support in their homes.
We serve those who fall outside the reach of medical or task-based care programs but who still carry a very real need: the need to feel seen, valued, and connected.
Together with The Golden Social Foundation, our nonprofit 501(c)(3) partner, we are working to reduce loneliness and social isolation by expanding access to companionship through volunteer programs, sponsored services, community outreach, and caregiver support.
Founded in Solano County and now serving Southwest Riverside County and the Inland Empire, we believe every older adult deserves connection, purpose, and someone who genuinely cares.
Who We Serve
We serve older adults (60+) and seniors who are experiencing social isolation, limited access to consistent companionship, or who simply need a trusted friend. This includes individuals aging in place or living with reduced social support. We also partner with families seeking peace of mind, knowing their loved ones have someone they can trust.
What We Do
As the companion services division of The Golden Social Collective, we provide personalized, non-medical companionship designed to enrich daily life, through our team of trained companions. Our services include friendly in-home visits, accompanied outings, conversation, games, walks, technology assistance, transportation coordination, light errands, and meaningful social engagement. We also offer concierge companionship and family communication services to help loved ones stay informed and connected.
Every visit is tailored to each client's interests, personality, and goals, creating genuine relationships that promote independence, confidence, and a greater sense of belonging.
Why It Matters
Social isolation among older adults is a growing public health concern. The CDC links loneliness and social disconnection to increased risks for physical, cognitive, and emotional health challenges. Regular companionship helps older adults feel valued, supported, and confident as they age. The Golden Social Club offers a locally rooted, preventive approach that strengthens well-being while easing stress for families and caregivers.

Our Story of Love & Care
Allyson Carter
Founder & Executive Director
The Golden Social Club was created from a simple belief: no one should have to experience aging alone. As people grow older, meaningful connection often becomes harder to find, yet it remains one of the most important parts of living a healthy, fulfilling life. We exist to bring companionship and genuine human connection to older adults, helping them feel valued and supported in the comfort of their own homes.
Founder and Executive Director Allyson was inspired by personal experiences with aging loved ones and by the stories shared by older adults and their families. Those experiences, combined with her background in administrative leadership, program development, and community-based services, shaped a vision centered on compassion and trust. At The Golden Social Club, every interaction is guided by the belief that even the smallest moments of connection can make a lasting difference.
